End of Term (again)

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear. I went into Hobbycraft after my very last lesson for this term (hurray for time off, but booo to missing all my lovely babies! Ah well, just a week before we're all back again). Honest to god, I only went in for a 11.5mm crochet hook. Which they didn't have. So I got a 10mm one instead - in a very bizarre clear orange plastic - and hope that will do the job for yet another cashmerino hat. And an 8mm just because I'm sure I have a project in mind that needs one.

And wouldn't you know, the curse of the jumping stash hit me again. You know, when bits and pieces just leap into your basket without you noticing and suddenly you need to buy an extra stash box whilst you're there...

I did need an extra Really Useful Box, anyhow (as featured on Crafty Storage yesterday, oddly enough). No, really, I did. Otherwise where would the four new balls of Sirdar Eco Wool live? And the two balls of red Patons 100% Cotton? And the exceedingly mad three balls of half-price Patons Art in Garnet (a scrummy alpaca/mohair mix)?

I don't know where the shiny buttons came from, though. Pics tommorrow.

On another note entirely, my swap from Read It Swap It arrived today - a Beginner's Guide to Silk Painting . I am still umming and aahing about going on a beginner's workshop in June...
