Numbers

A while ago, I was introduced to the utterly evil Unique Scrap Store, a place where you can get all kinds of bizarre stuff rather cheaply. I acquired a couple of packs of wooden letters and numbers for K as she's very into "play letters!" at the moment. In the numbers pack there were three sets of 0-9 numerals, so I have snaffled one to turn into a mobile. I have a nifty little hand-drill I got ages ago for having a play at turning wooden shapes into xmas decs, so I can drill the holes. A set of acrylic paints arrived in the post this morning and these are apparently good for painting balsa with (I presume that's what it is, it's very light), I have fishing wire already...I just need something to hang them from, a plain circle of wood or something. I wonder...I think I have an old embroidery hoop somewhere which is partly broken...

Watch this space!

Embroidary hoops are really useful, I often turn them into dream catchers as gifts for people as the inner part makes an excellent frame. I am not going to look at that shop right now as trying to declutter to move house in 10 days...
