Another one from the queue - yet more of the Creepy Cute oeuvre. Just a ninja and a jester to go now...but I really ought to be starting on a cardigan for K before she grows out of size 3-4. She's eating like a horse and growing like a weed, it seems.
I've been a bit domestically challenged this week; decided to try my hand at marmalade thanks to an enormous orange surplus. Given my usual bish-bash-bosh approach to cooking, it's no surprise really that the ruddy stuff won't set - no sugar thermometer, ignored the recommendation of orange (two bloods and two navels really aren't the same as four Sevilles) and probably overboiled it to boot; I suspect the amount of pectin in there is negligable. Still, I have four rather nice jars of orange sauce - if only I could afford the duck to go with it! Watch this space for "failed marmalade recipes"...
